The program and the roadmap.
Every rule of the mint, in the order it happens. The same facts are in the whitepaper, which governs.
The program
| Phase | What happens | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 0 · Set the roost | The five contracts are deployed dormant: deployment is not launch, and nothing can be minted before the deployer calls start(). The contracts are published together with the internal adversarial test report and the static-analysis results. The whitepaper states plainly: no third-party audit was performed. The mint site, the live status board and the Ally eligibility checker already run before launch, so Allies can check their wallets early. The full whitepaper includes the complete tax arrangement for every phase. | In progress |
| 1 · Bonding | The first 10,000 mint units at a flat $1.125 each; 1 unit = 50,000,000 BAGENT. Minting is open from the first minute to every .ai Agent ID holder, payable in USDT or BNB (BNB priced by the Chainlink oracle and swapped inside the call), at most 10 units per Agent ID for the whole program. Inside the first 10 hours, 1,111 free units are reserved for Ally holders; free units count inside the total of 10. Free units unlock 1 hour after the pool opens; paid units are never locked. At unit 10,000 the pool opens: 80% of all payments enter the PancakeSwap pool, 20% goes to the project treasury, and the LP tokens are burned. If 10,000 units are not reached by the deadline (5 days after the free window closes), bonding fails and every paid mint is refunded in full. Two published bonuses can raise the lifetime cap to 12 units: the invite bonus, and the Poster SBT that only free claimers can earn. This phase mints two soulbound keepsakes: the Genesis Badge for Ally minters (Member, Core and Founder classes by total units minted), and the Poster SBT. | Not started |
| 2 · Open market | Units 10,001 to 44,400, minted on demand. No waves, no deadline, no closing date; the only end is selling out all 44,400 units. The mint price is the lower of the tier price (the ceiling for the phase, rising from $1.25 to $2.1075) and 97% of the current market reference. There is no mint price floor: in a deep market fall, the mint price falls with the market. Every mint still splits 80% to the pool and 20% to the treasury. Each mint transaction also burns a small part of the pool's tokens toward the published floor-line mechanism, holding circulating value near 1.8× the total actually paid in (at most 0.8% of pool tokens burned per transaction). The floor-line is a mechanism, not a guarantee, and it only acts while mints flow. | Not started |
| 3 · Holder NFT | A separate NFT collection for BAGENT holders, capped at 3,333, transferable. Free-claim eligibility is decided by one snapshot: holding 250,000,000 BAGENT or more at the snapshot moment. Reaching that balance after the snapshot creates no free-claim eligibility; the snapshot happens once. Genesis Badge holders who qualify at the snapshot receive guaranteed slots first; the remaining free slots are then first-come-first-served inside the window. The snapshot moment, the window lengths and the paid price are published before Phase 3 opens; windows are never extended, and unissued supply is never issued. | Not started |
| 4 · Staking | The switch announced in the whitepaper from day one flips exactly once: after a 48-hour public timelock, the non-burn part of the trading tax is permanently redirected, 25% to the treasury and 75% to the staking contract. Holding at least 1 Holder NFT is the staking licence; without it a wallet cannot stake. Minimum stake 10,000,000 BAGENT, any amount above that. Each stake chooses a 1, 3 or 7 day lock with reward weights of 1, 1.5 and 2.25; after the lock ends, the position keeps earning at the base weight until it is re-locked or withdrawn. Rewards are paid in weekly epochs, only from tax actually collected; at claim time, a staker may take BAGENT, or convert only their own share to USDT at their own cost. Unclaimed rewards expire after 12 months. Rewards accrue only while the wallet still holds at least 1 Holder NFT, and the project's own wallets are permanently excluded from staking. Staking opens after the pool has grown beyond its opening size. | Not started |
What does a mint cost?
Phase 1 arithmetic only: $1.125 per unit, 50,000,000 BAGENT per unit. One Agent ID can mint at most 10 units per transaction and 10 units across the whole program, 12 with both bonuses. Phase 2 pricing follows the market instead; the formula is in the whitepaper.
Roadmap
Night shifts, already on the map. I mint, you chill. Windows once published are never extended, and rules never change mid-flight.
- The five contracts are deployed dormant. Deployment is not launch.
- The Ally eligibility checker runs before launch. Check your wallet early.
- The internal red-team report is published with the source. No third-party audit, stated plainly.
- Flat $1.125 per unit, 1 unit = 50,000,000 BAGENT. Pay in USDT or BNB.
- 1,111 free units for Allies only (JAGENT at least 2M · CENSUS at least 10M · GANG at least 4,000), first 10 hours only.
- Free units unlock 1 hour after the pool opens. Paid units are never locked.
- At unit 10,000: 80% opens the pool, 20% to the treasury, LP burned.
- Miss the deadline and every paid mint is refunded 100%.
- Two keepsakes mint in this phase: the Genesis Badge for Ally minters, and the Poster SBT for free minters inside the window.
- Units 10,001 to 44,400. No waves, no deadline. Ends only at sell-out.
- The mint price is always below market: the lower of the tier price ($1.25 to $2.1075) and 97% of the market reference.
- No mint price floor. The floor-line only acts while mints flow.
- Trading tax: buy 1%, sell 2%, of which 1% is burned forever.
- Capped at 3,333, transferable. Free claims are decided by one snapshot.
- Hold at least 250,000,000 BAGENT at the snapshot moment.
- Genesis Badge holders claim first, then first-come-first-served, then a paid mint from any remaining slots.
- The pre-announced switch flips: the non-burn tax stream goes 25% treasury, 75% staking.
- Hold at least 1 Holder NFT to stake. Minimum stake 10,000,000 BAGENT.
- Lock 1, 3 or 7 days at weights ×1, ×1.5, ×2.25. Weekly epochs, no rate promised.
Frequently asked questions
Basics
A fair-mint program on BNB Smart Chain. The token is sold by a mint contract in mint units — 1 unit = 50,000,000 BAGENT — to wallets holding a .ai Agent ID. At most 44,400 units will ever exist (hard cap 4,440,000,000,000 BAGENT). Our mascot is BAGY, a vampire bat who works nights so you don't have to.
No. There is no AI product, no agent being sold, and no utility promise. It is a mint program with published rules, enforced by contracts with no operator controls.
The contracts are deployed dormant. The program starts the moment the deployer wallet calls the one-time start() function — that block opens the free window and starts the bonding clock. The start is announced on https://basedagent.live and https://x.com/BasedAgentBSC.
The token is 0x3bfFC7e51Ac00668041fC70a2043bf78753a4544. The full set (token, mint contract, pair, Genesis Badge, Poster SBT, tax splitter) is published in llms.txt and skill.md on the official site. Verify the complete address every time — several unrelated zombie tokens have used the BAGENT ticker before, and one ends in 4444 to look official. Ticker alone means nothing.
The gate and quotas
Any wallet holding exactly one .ai Agent ID (SPACE ID registry on BSC). The mint contract checks balanceOf(wallet) == 1 live on every call. No ID, no mint — for free claims and paid mints alike.
A base quota of 10 units per Agent ID for the entire program, free and paid combined, at most 10 per transaction. Two bonuses (invite, Poster SBT) can raise the total to 12. Because Agent IDs are non-transferable and limited to one per address, the quota cannot be multiplied with fresh wallets.
After the pool opens, yes — but while units remain, minting is always available and in Phase 2 is priced below the market price at that moment by construction. There is never a reason the program requires you to buy on a DEX.
Free mint and Allies
Holders of the first-generation tokens — our Allies. You must currently hold at least: JAGENT 2,000,000, CENSUS 10,000,000, or GANG 4,000. There are 1,111 free units, one per Agent ID.
Check your wallet at the eligibility checker (api.basedagent.live). If you are eligible, the checker issues a single-use voucher (valid 10 minutes); your wallet or your agent calls claimFree with it. The contract re-checks your live Ally balance at claim time.
The first 10 hours after start(). It closes early the moment all 1,111 are claimed. Unclaimed slots lapse — they are not reissued, extended, or sold.
No. Posting is never a condition of the free claim. A post only matters for the optional Poster SBT bonus (below).
Free units are non-transferable until 1 hour after the pool opens — one simultaneous unlock for every free claimer. Paid units are never locked.
Only the free-mint eligibility touches the mint. Ally minters can also claim the soulbound Genesis Badge. There is no extra quota, no early access, and no discount for Allies — that simplification is deliberate.
Paying for a mint
USDT (BEP-20) or BNB, through the mint contract only.
Call bnbQuote to see the BNB amount: the USDT cost converted at the Chainlink BNB/USD price plus 1% headroom. The contract swaps exactly that BNB to USDT on the WBNB/USDT pair inside your mint transaction. If the swap lands below the cost, the mint reverts and you lose nothing but gas. BNB sent above the quote comes back in the same transaction. A plain BNB transfer to the contract reverts — it mints nothing.
Your refund is the USDT value your swap obtained, which is what the contract recorded when you minted. Refunds are claimed in USDT.
Your hard spending cap for the call (in USDT for USDT mints, in BNB wei for BNB mints). If the actual cost would exceed it, the mint reverts and charges nothing.
Prices
Flat 1.125 USDT per unit for units 1–10,000.
The lower of two numbers: its tier price ($1.25 rising $0.0025 per 100 units to $2.1075) and 97% of the market reference (the lower of the spot price and the 60-minute TWAP) at the start of your transaction. The mint price is therefore always below the market reference at that moment.
No — not for the mint price and not for the market price. In a falling market the Phase 2 mint price can drop below $1.125. Nothing in the contracts guarantees any price, and no project material promises one.
A mechanism, not a guarantee: each Phase 2 mint transaction burns some pool tokens to hold circulating value near 1.8× the total actually paid in (capped at 0.8% of pool tokens per transaction, with a minimum pool reserve). It acts only inside mint transactions — when minting pauses, it does nothing.
In the mint transaction that completes unit 10,000: 80% of accumulated payments (at least 8,000.10 USDT) plus 36,000,000 BAGENT per paid unit go into the PancakeSwap v2 pair, 20% goes to the treasury, the LP tokens are burned, and trading opens. The implied opening value is $1.25 per unit; after that the market decides.
Refunds and failure
Bonding fails and every paid minter reclaims 100% of what they paid with one claimRefund call. Free claims are void. The refund pot is always whole because the treasury share is held inside the mint contract until the opening transaction — it is never spent during bonding.
No. There is no function to extend, pause, or restart the program.
Badges, the SBT, and bonuses
A soulbound NFT for Ally minters — one per wallet, stamped with the origin token and a class based on total units minted: Member (1–4), Core (5–9), Founder (10+). It cannot be transferred. In Phase 3 it works as a priority key for the Holder NFT.
A second soulbound token, available only to the 1,111 free minters and only during the free window. Your agent fetches a claim code and an X post link from the API; you open the link (the draft post is already written, code included), press Post, copy the post URL and give it back to your agent. The API verifies the post itself, and your agent claims the SBT on-chain. It carries +1 unit of mint quota. Once the free window closes it can never be issued again; at most 1,111 will ever exist.
Name a referrer on your first paid mint. Seven days after the pool opens, the referrer can claim +1 unit of quota if you minted at least 1 paid unit and still hold at least half of what you minted. Entirely on-chain, once per invitee.
NFT Holder and staking (Phases 3–4)
A transferable NFT collection capped at 3,333. Free-claim eligibility comes from one snapshot: hold at least 250,000,000 BAGENT at the snapshot moment. Genesis holders who qualify claim first (guaranteed window), then other eligible wallets first-come-first-served, then any leftover supply is sold in a paid mint — if the cap fills in the free phases, there is no paid mint.
It is the licence to stake. Hold at least one and you can stake BAGENT (minimum 10,000,000). Extra NFTs add nothing; the Genesis Badge is not a substitute.
From the trading tax. After the NFT launches, a one-way switch in the tax splitter (announced in the whitepaper since before launch, 48-hour public timelock) redirects the non-burn tax stream: 25% treasury / 75% staking. Rewards are distributed in weekly epochs, only from tax actually collected, pro-rata to stake × lock multiplier (lock 1 / 3 / 7 days → ×1 / ×1.5 / ×2.25). No rate is promised, because rewards depend entirely on trading volume.
Yes — at claim time you may have only your own share converted to USDT, at your own cost. The default is BAGENT.
Accrual stops while your wallet holds no Holder NFT. Your staked principal and already-accumulated rewards remain yours.
Safety and the contracts
Effectively no one. There is no owner with operating powers: no withdrawal or sweep of user funds, no blacklist, no tax setter, no upgrade path, and no pause function anywhere. The deployer's only remaining act after deployment was the one-time start() call. The treasury Safe's last designed act is the Phase 4 tax-splitter activation described above.
There is nothing to renounce: the contracts have no owner in the first place (no Ownable anywhere), and the deployer pointers in the token, the mint and the splitter were zeroed during deployment itself. The LP position can never be withdrawn either: at the opening trigger, and again on every Phase 2 pool addition, the LP tokens are minted directly to the burn address. One key does outlive deployment, the voucher signer; the Safe may replace it only while Phase 1 is running, and that door closes permanently the moment the pool opens or refunds complete.
The rates — buy 1%, sell 2% (1% burned) — are constants and can never change. Only the destination of the non-burn 1% changes once, in Phase 4, from 100% treasury to 25% treasury / 75% staking, exactly as pre-announced.
Not by a third party — this is stated plainly, not hidden. An internal red-team programme (16 documented attack hypotheses) and static analysis were performed and published with the contracts. Read them before participating.
There is no external source of value: participant returns are funded by later mints and trading. The opening pool is small (about $8,000), so early prices will be volatile, and all free units unlock at once, one hour after opening. The Ally eligibility attestation relies on the project's eligibility API until Phase 1 resolves; the mint contract re-checks the live balance on-chain at claim time, so the API can withhold a voucher but cannot create eligibility. And because the contracts cannot be paused or upgraded, a bug found after the start cannot be patched — that irreversibility is the price of having no operator controls.
For agents
Read llms.txt or skill.md at basedagent.live — one file with the contracts, the exact calls, the voucher flow, and the warnings. Check eligibility at api.basedagent.live before attempting any claim, always pass a maxCost cap, and never send USDT or BNB directly to any contract address: plain transfers do not mint.
